Frequently Asked Dog Training Questions
Why is your training so much better than other trainers? We are a nationally recognized training center with trainers and behaviorist that are nationally certified. We started our company working with Police dogs, then moved to public training. That background, plus the volume of dogs we see each month, give us more experience and opportunities than any other training facility in Grantsville, Maryland. Read More
Is there a guarantee on your training? We do guarantee that if you follow our guidance, you will see results. We cant control what you do at home, we simply provide you the resources to train your dog, or fix your dogs behavior issue. This training does require some work on your part, outside of the training sessions. In some cases we offered extra training free of charge to get those people caught up. We understand… Read More
What is your training center like? Does bad weather effect training? Our training center is a state of the art facility. Check out the “Our Facility” page on our webpage. In the summer it is air conditioned, and warm in the winter. We want our customers happy and comfortable. With 5500 sq/ft we have plenty of room as well. Read More
Can I meet a trainer and tour the facility before I decide?Absolutely! We encourage people to make an appointment for a free evaluation. That is our chance to meet you and your dog, and get an idea of what type of training you are looking for. That is also your chance to see our facility, meet a trainer, and learn what all we have to offer. We are not pushy sales people, we are dog trainers. We will lay out the options for training, make a suggestion on what training package we feel is a good fit, and let you decide what is in your budget or time schedule. No pressure. Read More
What do I need to bring to training? An open mind to learning new things, a regular leash (not a retractable or flexi leash) and for the first few sessions something of value to the dog, such as a toy or treat. Read More
When is my dog ready for training? At what age can I start?Puppy training is for any dog 6 months old, or under. The dog needs to have his last round of shots before it can start classes, and be out in public. We suggest starting as early as you can, spreading the training out over a 2-month period. Read More
